• 1 12 oz. bag Decas Farms Fresh (or Frozen) Cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup Cabernet wine
  • 1/2 cup water or juice (pomegranate or orange work best)
  • 1/8 tsp ginger
  • 1/8 tsp cloves


Place brown sugar, wine, spices, and juice and in a saucepan over medium heat.  Allow the mixture to come to a boil and add the cranberries.  Lower the heat and allow the cranberries to simmer until they begin to pop and the sauce starts to thicken.  Remove from heat now for a sauce with some berries in-tact or stir a few minutes more for a more homogenous sauce.
