Ingredients

2 frozen Bananas

1 cup fresh cranberries, frozen

honey or agave, if desired

1 cup unsweetened cranberry juice, divided

1 cup strawberries & raspberries, frozen

1 cup frozen blueberries

¼ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

 

You’ll be adding similar ingredients so there is no cleaning in between!

Layer 1 - Pink

1 frozen banana

½ cup frozen cranberries

1 Tbsp honey (optional)

½ cup unsweetened cranberry juice

 

Layer 3 - Red

½ cup of unsweetened cranberry juice

1 cup of strawberries and raspberries

Honey or agave to taste

 

Layer 2 - Purple

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 frozen banana

¼ cup unsweetened cranberry juice

¼ cup plain yogurt or almond milk

 

Instructions

  1. Place the banana, cranberries, juice and honey (if using) into the blender.
  2. Blend all the ingredients until smooth.  Scraping down when needed.  Pour into a glass jar and place in the freezer. You can give the jar a few good whacks with your palm to help settle it.  Placing the smoothie into the freezer gives you the distinct layers.
  3. Next make the red layer (3)
  4. Place the rest of the cranberries and cranberry juice into the blender along with the frozen strawberries and raspberries. Add sweetener of choice, if desired.
  5. Blend all the ingredients until smooth. 
  6. Pour into a 2nd glass jar and place in the freezer.
  7. Make the purple layer (2) by adding the frozen blueberries, second frozen banana, and the almond milk to the blender.
  8. Blend all the ingredients until smooth.
  9. Freeze the layers for about 10 minutes then use a spoon to transfer the other layers (1, 2, 3) into the first jar.
